Role Overview: Warehouse OperativeThe Warehouse Operative will be an integral part of our warehouse team, responsible for efficiently handling, storing, and dispatching fabric rolls. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) to safely handle and move heavy fabric rolls.
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain an orderly and efficient warehouse environment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe workspace for all employees.
- Use computer systems and scanners to track inventory and manage orders.
- Follow all established warehouse procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment.
- Use of computers and scanners to track inventory and manage orders.
- Certification for operating Forklift Trucks (FLT) is highly desirable.
- Able to perform heavy lifting and handle large fabric rolls repetitively.
- Reliability and commitment to consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Good health and safety awareness, with a common sense approach to problem-solving.
