Job Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative at CastleView Group, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. This includes:
- General Warehouse Duties: Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including receiving and storing inventory, and performing tasks as assigned by management.
- Picking and Packing: Selecting and packaging products for shipment to customers, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.
- Scanning Items: Utilizing a scanning system to track inventory and ensure accurate counts.
- Good Timekeeping and Attendance: Maintaining a regular attendance record and adhering to scheduled work hours.
- Ability to Work Alone and Use Initiative: Working independently to complete tasks and using initiative to resolve problems and improve processes.
- Manual Handling: Lifting, carrying, and moving inventory and equipment as needed.
Shifts and Salary:
CastleView Group offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.44 per hour. Working hours include days from 6 am - 2 pm and 2 pm - 10 pm, as well as nights from 6 pm - 2 am. You may be required to work 12-hour shifts, but these will be scheduled in advance.
Working Conditions:
You will be working 5 out of 7 days a week on a varied shift pattern. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
