Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fire & Security Engineer to join our Resourcing Group team in Carlisle, UK. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing fire and security systems.

About the Role:

  • This role involves responding to reactive maintenance calls, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs on various fire and security systems.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A competitive salary of £34,000 - £37,000 per annum is offered for this position.
  • Company vehicle and fuel card are provided.

  • Overtime and on-call allowances are available.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and pension scheme are included in the benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to reactive maintenance and service calls across the Carlisle area, ensuring quick and effective resolution of issues.
  • Diagnose faults on fire and security systems and carry out repairs as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fire and security equipment to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by liaising with clients to offer solutions and advice on system maintenance and improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work carried out and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines while working on-site.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota, providing emergency support to clients as required.
