Job Title: Assembly Mechanic Level 3

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail. As an Assembly Mechanic Level 3, you will be responsible for repairing, overhauling, and modifying a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, heat transfer, electronic, air turbines, and electro-mechanical aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other technical data to perform repair and overhaul duties.
  • Perform preliminary inspections of units, including diagnostic tests, disassembly, cleaning, and component inspection.
  • Determine the materials required to overhaul or repair units.
  • Repair, overhaul, and assemble units in accordance with approved technical data.
  • Perform final tests of units to determine eligibility for return to service.
  • Prioritize and process units to meet customer due dates.
  • Process units in accordance with the Quality Management System, Repair Station Manual, and MOE.
Requirements:
  • A flexible approach to work is required.
  • The ability to function as part of a team within a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Customer focus.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience of precision assembly work.
  • A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship is desirable but not essential.
