Train Dispatcher and Platform Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Train Dispatcher and Platform Manager. As a key member of our station operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient dispatch of trains, while also providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch trains in a safe and timely manner, following established procedures and protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage the platform and station environment, ensuring that it is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our station's goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our station's operations, including train schedules, passenger flows, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of railway operations and safety procedures, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
