Accounting Clerk Role Overview

NC Associates, a dynamic and growing finance company, is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's financial operations and reporting directly to the company director.

Accounting Clerk Responsibilities:

  • Raising purchase orders and sending them to suppliers
  • Verifying supplier invoices against purchase orders
  • Reconciling invoices and ensuring accuracy
  • Raising sales invoices and sending them to customers, as well as handling supplier invoicing
  • Credit control - chasing payments from customers
  • Project reconciliation to ensure project financials are consistent
  • Compiling figures for VAT returns
  • Responsible for stock checks within the business, including managing stock for projects, ordering new stock for projects, and managing internal deliveries

Accounting Clerk Experience Required

  • Experience using Xero
  • Bookkeeping, handling purchase orders, and raising invoices
  • Studying towards AAT - Desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
