Aerospace Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:- Design Engineering: Support the development of innovative aerospace designs and modifications, creating detailed design documentation, including CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Certification Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with EASA/FAA regulations and Part 21J DOA requirements, preparing and reviewing certification documents, including compliance reports, safety assessments, and risk analyses.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to production, testing, and maintenance teams, assisting in troubleshooting design and certification issues, proposing and implementing solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design and certification processes, staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of aerospace design principles and engineering fundamentals.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., CATIA and 3DExprience) and engineering analysis tools.
- Basic knowledge of EASA/FAA regulations and certification processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
This requisition is for a locally hired position in either the UK or Ireland. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the UK or Ireland. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll. This position does not have relocation approval.
