Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in the Forensic Secure Inpatient Services at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing autonomous clinical assessment and treatment to patients with complex physical and mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Hold an appropriate Master's level award with modules in Advanced Health Assessment and Non-Medical Prescribing
  • Take responsibility for own learning and development, recognising and taking advantage of opportunities to learn and develop
  • Provide autonomous clinical assessment and treatment, demonstrating clinical expertise at an advanced level in both physical and mental health/LD for patients within the forensic mental health/LD setting

Essential

  • Professional regulated core qualification with the NMC/HCPC
  • Postgraduate qualification in NMP and Advanced Health Assessment
  • Relevant Master level qualification

  • Qualifications in Project Management and/or Quality improvement
  • Mental health/LD postgraduate qualification
  • Clinical Supervision qualification
