Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

As a Senior Nuclear Safety Specialist in Aerospace, Defence, Security and Technology (ADS&T), you will play a crucial role in shaping your projects. You will work alongside talented colleagues from various disciplines, providing safety case leadership, support, and delivery.

Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in safety, ideally within the defence and nuclear domain or other highly regulated industries. They will be ready to take the next step in their career and join a team that offers opportunities for growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in physics, mechanical engineering, or a closely related discipline (honours degree or equivalent). They will be a technical practitioner in the Nuclear/Defence domains, able to demonstrate good engineering judgement and apply fundamental engineering principles effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven track record in safety, ideally within the defence and nuclear domain or other highly regulated industries
  • Honours degree (or equivalent) in physics, mechanical engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Technical practitioner in the Nuclear/Defence domains, able to demonstrate good engineering judgement
  • Experience in applying fundamental engineering principles
