We are seeking a highly motivated Fitness Operations Manager to join our team at Sketchley Grange Hotel & Spa. Located in a serene setting, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the day-to-day running and operations of our Leisure & Spa department. As Fitness Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and motivating the Spa & Leisure team, working closely with the Spa Manager to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Complaint Handling: Respond promptly and efficiently to any complaints from staff or customers.
  • Coverage: Carry out duties of other members of staff if necessary, covering breaks, holidays, sickness etc.
  • Security: Be responsible at all times for the security of the building and its contents.
  • Delivery and Services: Check and sign for the delivery of goods/completion of services if required.
  • Incident Reporting: Record any serious incidents correctly and notify the appropriate persons immediately.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise the work of front-line operational staff, offering support and advice.
  • Event Management: Manage Special Events as required.
  • Inductions and Training: Assist with inductions, training and Performance & Development Appraisals of staff.
Health and Safety:

As a senior member of staff, you are responsible for the safety and welfare of staff under your direct control. You must have knowledge of our Health & Safety Policy and relevant instructions to your area of work.

  • Fitness Instructor Level 2
