Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Manage Software Engineers: Oversee a talented team of software engineers to deliver innovative solutions, define, and execute on software development programmes.
  • Guidance and Support: Guide and support the team in the continuous improvement of our Agile development practices.

Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within software development, including leading a number of functional teams operating in different SW domains with different toolsets and capabilities.
  • Software Architecture: Software development background with extensive experience in embedded systems (RTOS, Linux, Android).
  • Development Processes: Thorough understanding of SW development processes and tools including elements such as:
    • Version/Configuration Management
    • Programming Languages (C / C++, Java, Kotlin, C#)
    • Organisational Skills
    • Interpersonal Skills
    • Project Management Skills
    • Mentoring and Coaching
    • Performance Management
    • Technical Arbitration
