We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to join our team at The Hand and Spear, a renowned British pub and restaurant with rooms. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious menus that showcase the best of British produce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement seasonal menus that meet the high standards of our customers and the company
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional results in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation
  • Manage kitchen staff rota, training, and health and safety protocols to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Drive sales growth through engagement with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, and by developing new dishes and specials
