Senior Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Controller to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a Senior Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a large and complex accounts receivable ledger, working closely with our clients to ensure timely payments and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of credit controllers to ensure efficient and effective collection of outstanding debts
- Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce bad debt
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and disputes
- Provide regular reports to the Credit Control Manager on cash collection and other key performance indicators
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and account information
- Ensure compliance with company credit check processes and procedures
- Experience with billing and self-billing accounts
- Excellent reconciliation skills, cash posting, and account reconciling
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Senior Credit Controller
- Experience of supervising a team of 4-5
- High standard of numeracy, accuracy, and IT systems
- Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel, essential
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to recognize potential risks & concerns and escalate these to the Credit Manager
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work well under pressure

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of financial systems and processes
