Job Overview

As an AWS Technical Consultant at Amazon, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our customers, helping them navigate the complexities of AWS Cloud. You will work with leading technologists around the world, learning and using groundbreaking cloud technologies to solve critical customer problems. Your strong background in I.T. Consulting and experience in areas such as Solution Designing, Application and System Development, Database Management, and DevOps Consulting will be beneficial in this role. Knowledge of programming and scripting is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and use cutting-edge cloud technologies to solve complex customer problems.
  • Work with customers to plan, debug, and oversee ongoing operations of business-critical applications.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customers' individual needs.
  • Collaborate with AWS Cloud subject matter experts to help reproduce and resolve customer issues.
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the customer community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure / Troubleshooting / Systems Administration / Networking / DevOps / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • External enterprise customer-facing experience as a technical lead.
