**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Children's Pastor. This is a full-time fixed-term stipendiary three-year post under Regulation 29 of the Clergy Service Terms of Service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Vicar in nurturing relationships with the congregation and community
  • Develop and implement strategies for engaging children and young people in church life
  • Collaborate with the churchwardens, PCC, volunteers, and lay employees to achieve effective ministry
  • Maintain a daily Eucharist and prepare intellectually coherent and relevant preaching

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree in Theology or related field (desired)
