We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Special Needs School in Dawlish. Our school provides specialized education for secondary-aged students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism, Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).



As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in offering personalized support to our students, helping them to reach their full potential in a supportive and inclusive setting. Your key responsibilities will include providing individualized support to students and small groups, assisting with classroom activities and preparing learning materials, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and tracking progress, encouraging positive behavior and social interaction, and offering personal care and assistance as required.
