About the Role

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is a leading provider of stored energy solutions for industrial applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Li-ion Cell Technician to join our Cell Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test Li-ion cells to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Prepare and store new cell batches for production
  • Perform electrical screening and visual inspections of cells
  • Prepare cells for project build, including selection, wrapping, charging, and laying out
  • Conduct facility checks and destructive parts analysis on allocated cells
  • Support vibration testing at the cell level
  • Maintain the Cell Processing areas and complete documentation
Requirements
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy required
  • Basic skills with MS Office / Office 365 suite of programmes
  • Practical engineering experience
  • Basic use of hand tools
  • Knowledge of electrical test equipment
Desirable Skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to examine and present data clearly
  • The ability to execute critical, repetitive tasks accurately every time
  • An ability to work in a multi-project environment; to effectively prioritize and work to detailed scheduled plans and tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills
