About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Architect to join our team at Morson Talent.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and developing firmware for leading-edge airborne applications using VHDL, SystemVerilog, and FPGA technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop firmware for airborne applications.
  • Design and implement VHDL-based FPGA designs.
  • Utilize advanced verification techniques to ensure high-quality firmware.
  • Stay up-to-date with current FPGA technologies and tools.
  • Develop system level documents and analysis.
  • Apply a methodical approach to the firmware design lifecycle.
  • Specify complex timing and area constraints.
  • De-bug firmware designs.

Requirements:

  • UK MOD Security Clearance to SC level required.
  • Strong understanding of VHDL and FPGA technologies.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog and Model Driven Engineering tools.
  • High-speed interface design and integration skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
