Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Major Gifts and Legacy Development Lead to join our team, responsible for leading the major gift strategy to secure substantial donations from high-net-worth individuals and legacy donors. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.

Our team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to children and families affected by cancer. We are passionate about empowering these families to overcome the challenges of cancer and live life to the fullest.

The Successful Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A proven track record in securing major gifts and cultivating relationships with high-net-worth individuals and legacy donors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Competence across the main Microsoft Office products.
  • A results-driven approach with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Salary and Benefits

This is a part-time 30-hour per week position, with a salary of NZD $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer flexible working hours, the option to work from home one day per week, and a range of wellbeing initiatives.
