About the Role:

GVR Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Drylining Estimator to join our team in Basildon. As a Drylining Estimator, you will be responsible for taking control of previous accounts and bringing in new business opportunities for our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and deliver your growth strategy to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Proactively build and manage new relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to establish a strong network and drive business success.
  • Complete, assess, review, and chase tenders, create and maintain tender schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Cost and negotiate with clients to secure profitable deals and ensure maximum profit margins.
  • Provide support for the full life cycle of projects, including establishing timescales, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Enable maximum profit, smooth running, and on-schedule deliverables of projects by effectively managing resources and timelines.
  • Interrogate Bills of Quantities, Schedules, Specifications, and Architect's drawings to ensure accurate and detailed project understanding.
  • Control and manage all aspects of the estimating process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with internal managerial teams, operations, commercial, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure appropriate methods of measurement are used to ensure accurate and reliable project estimates.
  • Produce innovative and effective tenders that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Ensure clients are always provided with a first-class service, meeting their needs and expectations.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience working for a Drylining Subcontractor.
  • Demonstrate winning tenders successfully and consistently.
  • Evidence of building client relationships and establishing a strong network.
  • Effective planning and execution skills to drive business growth and success.
  • Technically aware and up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Phone and personal skills in a confident and professional manner.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Works well under pressure and can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Sociable and client-facing with a strong ability to build relationships and establish trust.
  • Detailed-oriented and accurate with a strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and able to prioritize a changing to-do list to ensure timely and effective delivery.
