Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Process Engineering department, you will play a critical role in improving manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality standards.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, engineering, or a related field and experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing processes, analyzing data to determine root causes of atypical events, and contributing to process improvement projects.

Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
  • Working towards BSc in Chemistry or Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
  • Previous experience with SAP enterprise software.
  • Previous experience in statistical analysis and data compilation.
Compensation and Benefits

Our competitive salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, we offer opportunities for professional growth and development.

Physical Requirements
  • Ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch for prolonged periods.
  • Manipulation of light to medium weights up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to sit, reach, talk, and hear for prolonged periods.
