About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Physiotherapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users with their physical management programmes, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in carrying out physical management programmes in line with care plans as directed by the Physiotherapist.
  • Liaise with staff members and other professionals to monitor, check, and carry out audits to ensure the aids, adaptations, and equipment used meet health and safety guidelines.
  • Advocate for the people we support when attending clinics alongside them, promoting their learning and understanding to ensure they live as independently as possible.
  • Lead and encourage support workers to understand their role during physio sessions, promoting their learning and growth.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience of working with a similar capacity and working with service users with learning disabilities.
  • A working knowledge of the current legislation.
  • A relevant qualification.
  • A full UK driving licence.
