About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading audits for non-profit organizations, providing technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits for non-profit organizations, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Manage projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve audit quality and efficiency
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent qualification
  • Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements
  • Experience of conducting audits for non-profit organizations, with a strong understanding of their financial reporting requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
