Health and Safety Manager

Promethean Particles Ltd is a global leader in the development and scale manufacturing of high-specification nanomaterials. Our mission is to help decarbonise the world by unleashing the potential of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) to enable more energy-efficient carbon capture.
We are seeking a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our Operations team, to accelerate our pioneering work in the large-scale manufacture of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs).
In this role, you will be responsible for the development of our health and safety strategy and culture. Working closely with all functions across site, you will promote a safe working environment for all areas of the business and ensure our compliance to relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and promote a safety-first culture across the site.
- Develop and maintain a health and safety management system.
- Lead the health and safety committee, including incident investigations.
- Ownership of risk management and assessment.
- Providing health and safety training, development and guidance to staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Required:
- Previous experience in a relevant industry such as Chemical Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals, Food and Drink or Brewing and Distilling.
- IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications.
- Degree qualified in a relevant field.
