Chef Role at Spire Healthcare
Spire Healthcare is seeking a skilled Chef to join their team at Spire Cardiff Hospital. This is a Bank position, offering a 0-hour contract with flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality meals in designated sections of the main kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.
- Support the head/senior chef in all aspects of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Ensure efficient delivery of food throughout all hospitality areas.
- Foster a culture of assistance between kitchen and server staff, and all departments within Spire Healthcare.
- Lead by example, ensuring consistency of food production and presentation.
Requirements:
- Previous Chef/Cookery experience.
- NVQ level 2 or higher preferred.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training.
- Knowledge and experience in similar establishments.
- Professional self-starter able to work unaided.
- Highly organized and capable of working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Working Hours: Combination of shifts, including 06.30 - 14.30, 10.00 - 18.00, and 11.00 - 19.00.
Contract Type: Bank.
