Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Rotork is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Development Team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence function, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing large volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines to collect, process, and transform data from various sources.
  • Implement and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts to store and analyze data.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses and data lakes.
  • Ensure data quality and governance by implementing data validation, data cleansing, and data transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements:
  • University degree or relevant experience in industry.
  • Demonstrable experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure services.
  • Expert across Azure; Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse and the Microsoft BI stack.
  • Solid understanding of Kimball principles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
