Sparsholt College Group is seeking a highly skilled Academic Tutor to join its teaching faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.

The role involves designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

A key aspect of this position is the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary of £36,507 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lectures and tutorials to students in a range of Level 3 units across land-based business, research, and ecology pathways.
  • Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic development.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and motivation.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to the overall assessment process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent).
  • Relevant teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working in an academic environment (desirable).
