Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at American Family Care, Inc. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient clinic setting.

About the Role:

  • Provide general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider to patients.
  • Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and reason for visit, and prepare the patient for a physical exam.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Perform laboratory tests, lab-quality controls, and equipment maintenance according to written instructions.
  • Respond to all lab messages and call back requests.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in medical assisting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. AMT registered and AAMA Certified Medical Assistants are preferred.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
