MET Technician / Strip Fitter Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced MET Technician / Strip Fitter to join our client's busy Bodyshop team in the Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a high standard
  • Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
  • Report unseen damage, absent from estimate as soon as it's identified
  • 4 wheel alignment, Suspension work, GEO, diagnostics and all mechanical work
Ideal Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an MET Technician / Strip Fitter
  • ATA/NVQ is advantageous but not essential
  • Hybrid Trained
  • ADAS Accredited

Our client offers a competitive salary, team bonus, and opportunity for overtime. The role is permanent, and the core hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday – Friday with an element of flexibility. The company also provides 21 days holiday including public holidays, pension contributions, enhanced sick pay, cycle to work scheme, and benefits app.
