Job Title: Principal Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements and design considerations for our systems and platforms. Key Responsibilities: * Specify and manage EMC requirements and acceptance criteria for systems, platforms, and programmes * Advise design teams on EMC design considerations and requirements * Liaise with EMC test engineers to design and specify testing regimes to prove system compliance against relevant standards * Design and implement system mitigation to meet EMC standards * Mentor and coach engineers within the team Requirements: * BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent qualification * Professional registration at Chartered level or evidence of working towards this * Experience of design for EMC compliance * Knowledge of EMC Defence Standards would be an advantage * Proven experience and ability to coach others in a team Benefits: As a Principal Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at BAE Systems, you will receive a competitive salary, enhanced annual leave incentive, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
