The Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing Professional to join our team at Chess Club Records. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with our artists, designers, and marketing teams to develop innovative marketing strategies and content.

As a Digital Marketing Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Content creation for our artists including attending video shoots/photo shoots/gigs to capture high-quality content.
  • Contributing to marketing brainstorms and assisting with the generation of creative marketing ideas, including music videos, artwork, press shoots, and social media content.
  • Helping run ECRM activity, including artist newsletters, label mailers, and administration.
  • Building and maintaining the label's release schedule and label copy/metadata across the roster.
  • Contribute ideas and create content for label social channels to help drive growth and engagement. Build social media comms plans for our artist campaigns.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A confident ability to use marketing, design, and photo/video editing tools such as Photoshop, Canva, Premiere Pro, Excel, TikTok/CapCut, and Instagram.
  • An ability to contribute towards unique, bespoke marketing & content ideas for our artists and label.
  • The ability to design assets, including social banners, posters, video cut-downs, announcement assets, etc.
  • Experience in the creation of visually engaging short-form content and managing social media channels, resulting in successful audience growth.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Salary Information

The salary for this position is £11,780 per year for the first 12 months, with the possibility of increasing to the National Minimum Wage (NMW) after that. In addition to this, we will also fund a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketing course that runs concurrently with your apprenticeship.
