About Our Team

AECOM's Impact Assessment Practice Area (IAPA) team is seeking a talented graduate to join our Bristol office. Our team provides environment and sustainability solutions for public and private sector clients, tackling climate and biodiversity emergencies.

We are a multidisciplinary team, working on a wide range of infrastructure development projects. Our work includes coordinating environmental inputs, identifying constraints, and developing solutions to minimize impacts. We also prepare environmental assessment reports and provide post-planning consent support.

As a member of our team, you will work with clients and design teams to understand project requirements and develop environmentally beneficial outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including sustainable energy generation and distribution, and water distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating environmental inputs and identifying constraints
  • Developing solutions to minimize impacts
  • Preparing environmental assessment reports
  • Providing post-planning consent support
Requirements
  • Relevant first degree and potentially a post-graduate degree
  • Good understanding of digital solutions for environment and sustainability challenges
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team
  • Strong research and report writing skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office
