Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at SJB Medical. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to our clients' employees, ensuring they receive the best possible treatment and support.

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with site managers to develop and implement health campaigns, aiming to reduce absence and improve employee engagement. You will conduct medical assessments, perform risk assessments, and offer preventative healthcare advice to staff.

About the Role:

  • Conduct confidential medical assessments for agency staff and advise on appropriate actions
  • Support the company's health campaigns to reduce absence and improve employee engagement
  • Collaborate with site managers to minimize legal risks and ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Perform confined space health assessments, fork lift drivers health assessments, and night shift workers assessments
  • Advise on preventative healthcare measures to promote a healthy workforce

Key Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Degree in Occupational Health or related field
  • Forklift Truck medicals
  • DSE assessment
  • Night Worker Medicals
  • New and Expectant Mothers Risk Assessment
  • Skin surveillance
  • Engineers' medicals
  • LGV medicals
  • Vibration White finger
  • Lead, Asbestos, Radiation

Salary Information: The salary range for this position is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Please note that these figures are estimates based on industry standards and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
