About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Barista Supervisor to join our team at Seven Dials Market, a vibrant food hall in Covent Garden, London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our coffee counter, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Baristas, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Create a welcoming environment that exceeds guest expectations, with a focus on sustainability and reducing waste.
- Work closely with our charity partner KERB+ to support our work experience program and contribute to our sustainability goals.
- Design and implement seasonal menus, ensuring consistency and attention to detail with every order.
- Collaborate with the Floor Manager to align the coffee counter's operations with the wider goals of Seven Dials Market and KERB.
Requirements and Skills
Essential
- Proven experience as a Barista, with a solid understanding of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a coffee shop, cafe, or hospitality environment.
- Excellent people skills, with a genuine passion for exceptional hospitality and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing stock levels, placing orders, and working closely with the Floor Manager to ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations.
