We're seeking a Customer Services Technician to join our Customer Services team in the North East region.
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license, be a time-served tradesperson with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team. They'll possess empathy and sympathy when dealing with customers, be smart, punctual, honest, and reliable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carrying out defect repairs in occupied properties
- Liaising with nominated contractors and suppliers for remedial works in occupied homes
- Liaising with the Line Manager to promote effective solutions to complex remedial activity
- Building positive working relationships with colleagues, particularly site teams
- Liaising with the Customer Service Hub regarding completed or ongoing remedial activity
- Completing tasks effectively and within charter timescales
- Acting professionally, courteously, and with dignity when interacting with customers, internal colleagues, external colleagues, and subcontractors
The successful candidate will also have a sound understanding of NHBC Technical Standards & Guidelines and be able to use their initiative to problem-solve.
