Job Title: Technology Assurance Manager, Risk

As a Technology Assurance Manager, Risk, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients identify and manage their technology risks. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality, high-profile projects, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop effective solutions to mitigate their technology risks.

The Opportunity

As a Manager within our Technology Risk team, you will have the opportunity to work on a range of IT Consulting and Assurance projects, including IT External Audit Support, IT Internal Audit, IT components of Regulatory Reviews, and other assurance activities. You will work alongside our wider Consulting and Assurance colleagues to help clients protect their reputation by mitigating their business, financial reporting, and IT risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver complex and global external IT Audit projects on major Banking, Capital Markets firms, Investment Banks, Asset Managers, and Insurance clients
  • Develop and implement effective IT general controls (ITGC) and IT automated controls audit methodologies
  • Lead and deliver IT external audit clients and deliver the portfolio to time, cost, and high audit quality
  • Manage and deliver client engagements, including scoping, financial management, managing delivery risk, production, quality, and review of deliverables
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the FS technology landscape and UK and EMEIA FS regulatory environment
Requirements
  • Demonstrable professional experience in managing and delivering complex and global external IT Audit projects
  • Good technical understanding of SOX, J-SOX, and IT audit methodologies
  • Hands-on experience in managing and delivering IT general controls (ITGC) and IT automated controls audit
  • Experience with audit analytics and automated control testing
  • Assurance over regulatory remediation programmes
  • Track record leading and delivering a portfolio of IT external audit clients
  • Experience within the FS industry and a sound understanding of the FS technology landscape
