About this Role

We are searching for a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at a hospital in Birmingham. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality psychiatric care and contribute to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and support for patients and their families.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid license to practice as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the UK.
  • Possess extensive experience in working with adults with mental health conditions, particularly in male-dominated settings.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of £160,000 - £165,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a 37.5 hour working week and permanent full-time contract.
