Testing and Inspection Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Testing and Inspection Engineer to join our team in Brandon. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting various tests on construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
You will ensure these materials meet industry standards and provide critical support to projects by delivering accurate data and detailed reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out material testing on various construction materials.
- Use specialist equipment to assess properties like strength, density, and texture.
- Record test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external use.
- Work closely with different teams to ensure materials meet required specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing techniques and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Construction is preferred. Alternatively, a solid foundation in scientific principles through education or work experience is also acceptable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in materials testing would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and report on data.
