Materials Quality Assurance Professional

We are looking for a Materials Quality Assurance Professional to join our team in Brandon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of construction materials used in our projects.
You will conduct various tests on materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt to ensure they meet industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out material testing on various construction materials.
- Use specialist equipment to assess properties like strength, density, and texture.
- Record test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external use.
- Work closely with different teams to ensure materials meet required specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing techniques and safety standards.
Requirements:
- A degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Construction is preferred.
- Alternatively, a solid foundation in scientific principles through education or work experience is also acceptable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in materials testing would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and report on data.
