About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housing Options Officer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing a customer-focused housing options and advice service, preventing and relieving homelessness wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to residents on housing options and homelessness prevention.
  • Work closely with local statutory and voluntary agencies to ensure effective delivery of services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local housing providers to secure suitable accommodation for residents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop personalized housing plans.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure a seamless service delivery and effective communication with residents.
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in housing options and homelessness prevention.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of local government policies and procedures.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
