We are seeking an experienced Systems Modelling Engineer and People Manager to lead our RF Seeker Modelling and Performance team.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for the industry and technology to take on a leadership role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of model-based systems engineering processes and auto-coding techniques to rapidly iterate the design and achieve the required performance of the Seeker.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in modelling and coding using MATLAB and Simulink, as well as experience in Verification & Validation, configuration control, and model release processes. They will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as data analysis and technical report writing abilities.

As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a complex Seeker model, including simulation of the RF environment, Seeker hardware, and processor algorithms. You will also oversee task package management, algorithm development, and interaction with customers across multiple domains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing model-based systems engineering processes
  • Leveraging auto-coding techniques to rapidly iterate design
  • Leading a team of engineers in the development of algorithms and models
  • Managing system studies and performance analysis
  • Facilitating team development in modelling practices and algorithm design
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in modelling and coding using MATLAB and Simulink
  • Experience in Verification & Validation, configuration control, and model release processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Data analysis and technical report writing abilities
