Highways Drainage Maintenance Operative

About the Role
As a Drainage Driver-Operative with Swindon Borough Council, you will be responsible for carrying out all types of drainage maintenance work associated with the highway asset throughout the Borough.
You will be required to work in all weather conditions and may be asked to participate in an out-of-hours standby rota to attend emergency situations and assess and repair drainage assets.
A driving licence is essential for this role, and you must be fluent in the English language.

The Highway Maintenance team is responsible for the routine maintenance of roads, footways, signs, and lines, as well as drainage assets across Swindon.
