Highways Drainage Maintenance Technician

**About the Role**
Swindon Borough Council is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Highway Maintenance team as a Drainage Driver-Operative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out various drainage maintenance tasks associated with the highway asset throughout the Borough.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Carry out all types of drainage maintenance work, including routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Work in all weather conditions and be prepared to attend to emergency situations outside of regular working hours.
- Participate in the Council's Winter Service Programme and be available for overtime as required.
- Hold a valid driving license and be able to drive a variety of vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and the public, and be fluent in the English language.
