About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Governance and Reporting Leader to join our team at Better Days Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a robust governance framework and reporting function, ensuring that our organization operates with transparency, accountability, and compliance with relevant requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive governance framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective reporting processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to promote a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on governance and reporting matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry developments to ensure our organization remains compliant.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in governance, compliance, risk management, or a related field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
  • Leadership experience in a large, complex organization, preferably in the financial services or regulated industries.
  • Deep understanding of corporate governance principles, risk management frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills to extract insights from information and proficiency in governance and reporting software tools.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Masters degree or professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CGEIT).
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
