About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Governance and Reporting at Better Days Recruitment. This is a brand new role that will play a critical part in shaping the governance and reporting framework for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement a robust governance framework that ensures effective governance and risk management across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive reporting function that meets all internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of GRC to ensure alignment and effective implementation of governance and reporting strategies.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for governance and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, board members, and external auditors.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in governance, compliance, risk management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of corporate governance principles, risk management frameworks, and reporting standards.
  • Proven track record of establishing and implementing effective governance and reporting frameworks in a large, complex organization.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a related field, such as business administration, law, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications, such as CISA, CISM, or CGEIT.
  • Proficiency in governance and reporting software tools.
