About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Psychiatrist to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant in Community Mental Health, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients registered with general practitioners within Bournemouth.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Work full-time within the Turbary Park Sector of Bournemouth West Locality Community Mental Health Team, providing comprehensive community-based services to patients.
- Participate in the on-call rota, with a weekly on-call rota that is Dorset-wide, paid at a 3% on-call availability supplement PLUS 0.25 APA in the East of the county and 0.75 APA in the West.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services in Dorset, working closely with primary care and community teams.

Person Specification
We are looking for a Consultant in Community Mental Health who has:
General medical qualification (e.g. MBBS) and a Licence to Practise.MRCPsych or recognised equivalent.Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and excellent clinical skills using a bio-psycho-social perspective.Ability to meet duties under the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.Excellent written and oral communication skills.How to Apply
