Key Responsibilities- Promote a safety-first culture within the business and ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
- Design, develop, and implement internal policies, ensuring awareness among all employees.
- Conduct regular audits, report findings, and provide recommendations to the Operations Board monthly.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, reporting findings to the Operations Board monthly.
- Develop and deliver Toolbox Talks on high-risk activities.
- Identify hazards, ensure risk assessments are completed, and reviewed.
- Review and provide feedback on RAMS and risk assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and communicate changes to the business.
- Design, develop, and implement safe operational procedures.
- Lead in-house training on health and safety issues and risks.
- Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports suggesting improvements.
- Work with external consultants to develop sustainability priorities and deliver plans.
- Produce newsletters and bulletins.
- Ensure equipment is installed safely.
- Support and organize the safe disposal of hazardous substances.
- Advise on specialist areas, such as fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and occupational diseases.
- Line manage the Facilities Team, including time management, setting objectives, and conducting annual appraisals.
Please note that all candidates must have full eligibility to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not available for this position.
