Accountancy Practice Manager

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Client Manager to join a firm of accountants based near Deal. As a Client Manager, you will work in a general practice capacity across accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT, reporting directly to the Partners. You will have a significant amount of autonomy for your portfolio and a great opportunity to build long-lasting relationships with clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing statutory accounts to review stage using IRIS, assisting with management accounts production, personal taxation, corporate taxation, and VAT returns, as well as general bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero, or Quickbooks. Additionally, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees. To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years of experience within an accountancy practice, be AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience, and have hands-on experience of accounts, tax, and VAT preparation. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000, dependent on experience and background, as well as a highly competitive benefits package.
