Care Team Leader

As a Care Team Leader at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents with diverse needs. This is a senior position that requires strong leadership skills, as you will be responsible for supervising a team of Care Assistants and supporting the clinical team in areas like medication and care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate a team of Care Assistants to ensure they are providing the highest standard of care
- Support the clinical team in medication management, assessments, care planning, and care reviews to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure that every resident receives respectful, compassionate, and individualised care that meets their unique needs
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly, including understanding of medications, assessment tools, and care planning processes
- A warm and empathetic approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
