About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee High Intensity CBT Therapist. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and experience in providing therapy to clients with a range of common mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide therapy to clients with a range of common mental health problems
  • Develop your clinical skills and experience through a thorough induction, shadowing qualified CBT therapists, and CBT therapy groups
  • Participate in monthly training sessions, weekly 1-2-1 supervision, group supervision, and reflective practice
  • Complete an NHS-funded Postgraduate Diploma course to develop your skills in assessing and delivering NICE-recommended CBT interventions in community settings
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 2 years of experience working in mental health and excellent interpersonal skills. You will also need to be available to start employment in January 2025 and be willing to travel within Kent for training and client work.
